The Environment and Water Engineering (EWE), is an open access double-blind peer-reviewed journal which is published by the Iranian Rainwater Catchment Systems Association concerned with new concepts and findings in areas related to the optimal use of natural resources and environmental protection and the challenges of water management and engineering. The EWE is a quarterly publication, which publishes original research papers, review papers, short papers, case studies, and letters to the editor (See journal scope)). This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards in accordance with ethical laws. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through Samim Noor software to ensure their authenticity to be assured about its originality and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers. In three consecutive years of evaluation of the scientific journals by the Iranian Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, EWE ranked "A". Articles published in Persian in 2020 were indexed on the Scopus website and added to the authors' portal in Scopus.
